Warehouse Manager • Grapevine, TX

Position Overview:

The Aircraft Parts Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing the efficient and effective distribution of aircraft parts in a warehouse environment that adheres to AS9120 and ASA100 quality standards. This position requires a thorough understanding of aviation regulations, inventory management, and quality management systems. The manager will be responsible for leading the warehouse team and ensuring that all warehouse operations are carried out in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the aircraft parts distribution warehouse, including inventory control, receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to ensure compliance with AS9120 and ASA100 quality standards.
  • Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring that they are working in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations of the warehouse staff.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure the accuracy of inventory records.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels and ensure accurate and timely completion of inventory counts.
  • Supervise and train warehouse staff, including conducting regular performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely order processing and fulfillment.
  • Coordinate with quality control personnel to ensure that all products meet the required quality standards before they are shipped.
  • Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics, including inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and on-time delivery.
  • Take corrective action as needed to improve warehouse performance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Ensure that all administrative duties are completed accurately and on time, including record-keeping, reporting, and budgeting.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the aviation industry.
  • Knowledge of aviation industry regulations, including AS9120 and ASA100 quality standards.
  • Proficient in office 365 and warehouse management software.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to noise, dust, and other environmental factors.
