Industrial Engineer • Fort Worth, TX

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Industrial Engineer to drive process improvement, efficiency, and standardization across our operations. This role will focus on analyzing current workflows, developing and formalizing standard operating procedures, and implementing best practices to enhance productivity and quality. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing or aerospace environments and possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Development & Improvement: Analyze existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement solutions to optimize operations.
  • Standardization: Develop, document, and formalize standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Lean & Continuous Improvement: Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and other industrial engineering methodologies to reduce waste and improve productivity.
  • Data Analysis: Use data-driven insights to monitor performance metrics, identify trends, and recommend process enhancements.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with departments such as manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and finance to implement process improvements.
  • Technology & Automation: Identify opportunities for automation and digital tools to streamline operations.
  • Training & Implementation: Assist in training employees on new processes and ensure successful adoption.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all processes comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-7 years of industrial engineering experience, preferably in manufacturing or aerospace.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
    • Proficiency in process mapping and workflow optimization
    • Knowledge of ERP systems, data analysis tools, and process automation solutions
    • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Certifications (Preferred but not required): Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, PMP, or similar.
